I recently heard one of my favourite second year NFL running back's say this after a pre-season practice, "Every practice session is an opportunity for me to get better." I wonder how many employees view yet another Monday morning, another week of work, as an opportunity for them to get better? Considering annual employee engagement sits at 33% in the U.S. currently and just 23% globally, I'm going to say, not many.
When we move from priorities to possibilities, something changes. Try it. Say this phrase to yourself, "from priorities to possibilities". We're going to work through a few reasons why it's important to do so as well as a five tactical steps forward that you can try for yourself.
