Diamonds Are Forever
Across many of our centers, our senior patients are often found living on their own with little to no family members who are present to love and care for them. In Louisville, Kentucky, our West Broadway JenCare Senior Medical Center team wanted to give their seniors an opportunity to get dressed up and dance the night away. They hosted its first annual Senior Prom, “Diamonds are Forever,” to demonstrate LOVE in action.
West Broadway’s Community Outreach Team, along with JenCare Ambassadors, brought together 150 attendees including patients, guests, our membership growth consultants, and others to dance and have a delightful evening. “Every day we interact with seniors that have not had the opportunity to experience all that life has for them,” says Center Operations Manager Ashley Bender.
Joining this evening of sparkles and diamonds were Center Medical Director James Smith and Lead Primary Care Physician Josh Seo. They even crowned a Senior Prom King and Queen! Ms. Hattie (pictured as the Senior Prom Queen above) celebrated her 95th birthday by “cutting a rug” and enjoying the festivities.
“The community has forever been inspired and will never forget ‘Diamonds are Forever,'” says Executive Director Michael Brunzo. Kudos to West Broadway’s Community Outreach Team and all of our JenCare Ambassadors for making this special day possible.

2yWhat an awesome event to allow your members to celebrate life and being together to dance and celebrate good health. I really like all of the opportunities that ChenMed provides for members to focus on keeping healthy and connected in the community with each other!
