🧠✨ Did you know?

Some scientists believe the brain remains active for up to 7 minutes after death. What happens in that time—reliving memories, vivid dreams, or something beyond—is still a mystery. Stay with me here…

As a kid, I earned the nickname "Evel Knievel" (yes, the legendary 70s stunt performer). Like Evel, I thrived on death-defying stunts, fueled by adrenaline and the wide-eyed amazement of the neighborhood kids. Helmets? Shoulder pads? Not a chance. The bruises and scrapes were just part of the learning curve. Fall. Get up. Repeat.

Now, as we sprint through December—deadlines looming, quarters closing, family gatherings, shopping lists, and holiday chaos—it can feel like the ultimate stunt jump with no safety net. The pressure to land perfectly is real.

But here's the pause: December is also a time for reflection.

🕰️ Reflecting on the lessons this year handed us.

🛠️ Embracing failure as fuel for growth.

🎯 Planning—meticulously—for a year ahead driven by intention, resilience, and a growth mindset.

This week, I'm staying mindful of my time, the lessons learned, and the opportunities waiting just beyond the leap. In my case it is pulling out the guitar behind me in my office and butchering some holidays classics - because I can!

Food for thought as we dive deeper into December:

"Remember that failure is an event, not a person." – Zig Ziglar

"You never know how strong you are until being strong is your only choice." – Bob Marley

"Obstacles don't have to stop you. If you run into a wall, don't turn around and give up. Figure out how to climb it, go through it, or work around it." – Michael Jordan

How are you balancing the December sprint with time for reflection and preparation?

Challenge - trying something that (is safe) risky or pick the phone and call someone who might appreciate hearing your voice. #Withorwithasafetynet #Change #Failfast #Repeat
