Digital Detox has changed my life!!!
Using technology is not bad but how you are using, it’s important. You can use technology as a tool for the enhancement of your mission, dreams, and purpose in life.
In fact, I will say Technology is a great tool if we will learn how to use it wisely. Technology was created to help people and increase their productivity. But over time, we didn’t know how to use it carefully, people who know the better use of it can create better results for themself, their families, and the communities.
When I Joined Facebook earlier, I used it for posting pictures showing our vacations and great moments. I didn’t know I was used to it so much, I was playing games and putting status and waiting for likes and comments. And when I saw other people better than me, It created envy and inferiority about me. It was so much time-consuming and mentally it was impacting me. Whenever I posted something, I waited for what will be a response to my status. That was draining my energy.
One day I decided to delete my account and create a space where I can grow myself internally. I went on Digital Detox, I focused more on my family and my spiritual growth. I started to read more books. Later I realized, I was using social media so wrong.
After that one thought came to share the knowledge with the people for the betterment of their life, so I started sharing knowledge on my Facebook Page and used to share spiritual teachings on that page, and people started to follow that page. Then I started my motivational and Health and wellness page. Many followers started to join my pages, who read those Quotes and messages. The point is here that earlier I was not using social media in the right way, but later I learned to use it for the welfare of people to increase their wellness and growth.
Social Media is not for showing your personal things all the time. Keep your private things to yourself. It is not necessary to get appreciation from others that will make you happy. There will be very few people who will be happy with your happiness, and vacations. Everyone is looking for their own happiness and growth. We should use social media by sharing information that is going to help others and for uplifting each other.
Now I have my all work through Social Media and digitalization. My point is here that technology is a great tool than we ever had, we can reach millions of people in very less time. It is very powerful.

People are used to do social media and using gadgets at home, so they are not connected with the people inside of a home but to the whole world.
When your life is getting in the wrong direction by using social media. You feel unproductive, your mental health is not good after using gadgets. Your relationship is not going great, you spend more time on the phone than with each other. This is the time you need to go for Digital Detox for a few days. You can go for a vacation or spend more time with your family and personal growth with no wifi, internet, television, or laptop. It may seem hard for a lot of people, but if you really need to do digital Detox, you should go for it.

If you are getting things that are not helpful and making worst your life you need to check what are the things that you can fix in your daily routine to improve your quality of life.
Technology is helpful to enhance the productivity of human life and give comfort. We should understand that it can create a habit of using technology more and more. It’s a kind of addiction.
I was reading the book ‘Things That Matter’ by Joshua Becker. He gave a very good example of using technology as a tool. For example- when the fire was discovered, it was a great invention, and it is to us how we can use it as a tool to enhance our productivity or destroy life and mankind. We can use fire for cooking, warming, creating some products, and lighting candles. And on the other hand, fire can be used to burn the jungles, homes, and other destruction. It is also the same with technology, we can learn how to use it for the betterment, or can ruin our life.
Final Thoughts
We can see the technology addiction in the teens and youth generation as their mind is not that mature. As a parent, we can help them, with how to use technology and gadgets with tracking and much involved with them. We are born in the age that we have seen the time No Gadget to Gadget culture. We know how to live life with minimum Gadget use. If you are using Gadgets, use them for your work and personal growth, and yes entertainment sometimes. But be mindful, do not involve yourself too much in it, that you might have regret in your life.
