What is a Google Business Profile Site?

Google My Business (GMB) has been a valuable tool for businesses, acting as a digital storefront where you can showcase your offerings, share prominent business details, and interact with customers and getting reviews. Until now, GMB also allowed businesses to create individual profile sites within the platform, serving as an additional online space.

When you create a Google Business Profile, Google gives you the option to add your website. Previously, businesses that didn’t have a website were offered to create a free one instantly using the information in their Google Business Profile.

Local searches have increased almost 500% over the past few years due to GMB profiles. According to Google, almost 78% of searches for a local business end up in a physical visit within a week. (Source: ThinkwithGoogle)
