DIWALI BOUNS BY SIR VIRAT
DIWALI BONUS BY SIR VIRAT
Thanks Sir Virat!
You Made our Diwali a very happy one.
Sir Virat Kohli played the innings of his life, showed his caliber that he's the best in the business and the King of Chases.
On Sunday, 23rd October 2022, the Indian cricket fans as well as cricket lovers across the world were watching the T20 World Cup match between India vs Pakistan with great enthusiam and to all our fortune, this match proved to be a humdinger of a contest.
Sir Virat Kohli made the impossible possible with the help of Hardik Pandya, the go-getter of the team.
A dream T20 World Cup debut for the seamer Arshdeep Singh who picked up 3 wickets that actually played a very crucial role in the context of the match situation.
From an Indian perspective, the result made the entire country extremely happy as it was a famous victory over arch rivals Pakistan.
But when we were celebrating this victory, a thought came to my mind what if and but....
What if India would have lost?
Indian cricket lovers would have been devastated, not because we would have lost, because of the way certain Indian players played that could have resulted in the loss.
If we do a thorough analysis of the match, it shows that Pakistan were the favourites to win till the 19th over of the 2nd half. The reasons for this is that Indian team allowed them to get off the hook inspite of the Pakistan's scoreboard reading 96-4 at 13.2 overs. Our bowling in the last 5 overs needs to be more disciplined.
Now coming to the beginning of our chase, the body language of the Indian openers looked very negative right from the 1st ball. Our openers wanted to return to the dressing room as quickly as possible and their wish was granted. Disgusting isn't it?
It was schoking to see the shot selection of certain players where the need of the hour was for them to show a proper temperament in handling the pressure. Dissapointing it was.
It boiled down to a One Man Show-Sir Virat Kohil.
The icing on the cake was Ashwin's presence of mind. Hats off to Ashwin for predicting that the ball would be wide and it proved to be a wide.
If it was not, then Ashwin would have been the Chetan Sharma of this century.
Also appreciate, the way he played the last ball with confidence to score the wining run under high pressure situation.
Needles to say that the Pakistan team tried their level best to control India till the last ball where Babar Azam had a fairly young team who made India sweat for their victory.
It's an eye opener for our openers who are never confident when they play for India, however they are very confident while playing IPL.
Let's all learn a lesson from Sir Virat Kohli and Hardik Pandya that Performance Is Reality.
Keep watching T20 World Cup, Abhi Picture Baaki Hain Dost
