Do You Feel Burnt Out?
It is Wednesday and perhaps it already feels like another one of those weeks. The long days are starting to take their toll and this can result in mental exhaustion. Switching off may feel like a pipe dream. 😖
I am describing what life used to be like for me most weeks and this culminated in me reaching breaking point in 2020. This was so tough. I know I am not alone.
Today, I want to share 3 things you can do which will make a huge difference.
Before I do, I want to introduce you today, to a different way of living. As an example, yesterday afternoon I finished work early and took my 8 year old Joseph to see one of their hero’s Steve Backshall. In the past I would have been thinking about work. My mind would have been consumed with everything I had to do when I returned home. Last night, I just enjoyed the evening. I watched their little face light up and it was so special. 😊
But how does someone make a transition like this?
I want to share today 3 of the changes I introduced which completely shifted my world. 🌍
#1 My mindset
I discovered that I had always been wired to work hard and to feel under pressure. I thought this was an asset up until a few years ago, and then realised that this was stopping me from truly living. The first step is to pin-point how you are holding yourself back.

#2 Gratitude
Rather than make excuses and focus on everything I was doing wrong, I started to appreciate the small every day things I have. ✨
#3 Going after what I truly wanted.
I was inspired to take off the shackles and to go after my real professional dreams. When you do this you will start to feel alive! 🤩
