Do you Know ECSF?

There was a need for a framework that would manage or put in order all the #cybersecurity roles that currently exist among other things. For this reason, #ENISA has created this Framework. I sincerely believe that it makes more sense than ever, now that it is normal to work remotely in different countries.

The ECSF provides a practical tool to support the identification and articulation of tasks, competences, skills and knowledge associated with the roles of #European cybersecurity professionals. The main purpose of the framework is to create a common understanding between individuals, employers and providers of learning programmes across EU Member States, making it a valuable tool to bridge the gap between the cybersecurity #professional workplace and learning environments.

Now that there are so many jobs to be filled, I think it is helpful for HR departments to have this Framework. This way we will let the typical advertisement show that for a Junior position they ask for more than 10 years of experience. I didn't know that playing with the console was useful (Irony).

Also, one of the things that I like most about the #Framework is that it standardizes the training that is required for each of the twelve roles it describes. If you look at #Linkedin it seems sometimes a competition of who has more acronyms.

If you are interested in hearing more about this framework and how it can help you, write me! And so I will continue the article with case studies, which is where you learn best.

To be continued ..........
