Do You Love What You Do?
If you’re like many people you may be under the misconception that you have to make a choice between doing what you really love or making money. But that doesn’t have to be the case.
I have had a chance to talk with so many coaches and entrepreneurs who believe you can make money doing what you love. They all seem to agree it will be work, but it will be rewarding. Here are just a few of my favorites

Owning a business isn't all sunshine and roses. The reality of being a business owner is in addition to following your passion you have to deal with an unhappy employee, prepare paperwork for your accountant, or call clients who are behind in their payments to you. It isn’t something you want to do, but is part of the role of a business owner.
However, if the majority of your day is spent on things that frustrate you, or simply don’t give you joy, you are heading for burnout. You need to find a little balance.

Make a list of how you spend your time. Divide the tasks into one of three categories: Love, Like, or Dislike. Look at the length of each list. If you are spending more than 25% of your time doing things you really dislike it is time for a few changes.

1yThanks so much, Lorraine. Hope you’re keeping well.
So true. If you do what you love to do then it isn't technically work, and you won't burn out. Then one understands that in order to live one has to have balance in order to be successful. Otherwise we are spinning our wheels at a dead end job, and working crazy hours to impress someone who will never fully recognize your talents.
