Today morning I received a very interesting call from a client. She called to say that ‘as per the horoscope predictions in the leading newspaper, I should be getting a promotion very soon.’ I wanted to laugh, but held myself back… after all she was a distressed client seeking help. Let us talk on this topic today.
This topic is controversial in itself, people who call themselves experts in the field of astrology keep updating videos on generic Sun signs. I find them very misleading and hence would like to apprise each one of you.
The newspapers usually mention that by being born in a specific month, makes you a Virgo, or a Leo or a Libran. Is it logically possible for all Leo’s on this earth to have similar horoscopes? You can have two different people from the same sun sign going through different issues, in spite of being born on the same date and even if they are twins. If we go by what these predictions say, then anyone sharing Mr. Bachchan’ s birthday should be another, Mr. Amitabh Bachchan? Really? Is it Possible?
Astrology consists of three charts: Your Sun Sign, Your Moon Sign & Your Ascendant / Rising sign which in Hindu astrology is also called as Lagna. Everybody has a different chart which is effective at different times. Each one of us as a human being are comprised of these 3 charts and at different periods of our life, different charts are effective.
There are 12 different Rashi(Planets) in a horoscope, and each of these two Rashis’ has one lord, except the Sun and the Moon. Every horoscope comprises of 12 houses which define our life and how our lives are connected and impacted with our loved ones. For E.g. the 3rd house is for your younger brother, and the 3rd to 7th house stands for younger brother’s wife and your father.
So our lives and the lives of our loved ones are clearly written in our stars to a great extent.
So, my friends, when your chart is more dominant with your Moon sign and the placement of Moon is also there, then this is also called your mann(mind)chart. Similarly, when the Sun is placed in your Sun sign, it represents ‘Yash, Maan, Sammaan, your inner soul’.
And…
Lastly, it is your Lagna Chart which is your body, how you act, behave and your mind set.
So, how does one's zodiac sign which comes only by a date of birth works and gives your predictions ? It is just not possible, unless in a rare case, where things connect, by chance / fluke.
So, if you know your date, time and location of birth, please go to any site on the internet, make your chart, find your Rashi and the placement of Moon and read its predictions, also predictions from Lagna Rashi and then analyze the mixed results which u feel are more appropriate, to satisfy yourself on a daily basis. You will realize that only few predictions are accurate (not 100%).
