Don’t Miss the Louis Kahn Exhibit at the Kimbell
It’s safe to say that almost every architect has been influenced, in some way, by Louis Kahn. His designs helped define modern architecture, and his innovative use of brick, concrete, and sunlight were hallmarks in many of his projects.
The Kimbell Art Museum in Fort Worth is one of his most famous designs, so it seems fitting that the museum is hosting “Louis Kahn: The Power of Architecture.” The three-month exhibit will feature Kahn’s photographs, original drawings, models, videos, and documents.
It’s interesting to think that once you spend some time with Kahn’s process, you can look around or walk outside, and see that information coalesced into the Kimbell Art Museum.
The exhibit runs through June 25th and we hope everyone will take a few hours to check it out.
