Don't be part of the 80% that "don't"

Don't be part of the 80% that "don't"

Don't be part of the 80%- A simple way to set and achieve your goals

Most People Fail at their New Year's resolutions by February 1st.

Each Day You Start with a Blank Canvas

It's never too late to start getting things done...

 1. Focus on how goal accomplishment is going to make you FEEL. The goal is to get that FEELING.

2. REFLECT on past performance and adjust, adapt, accept.

3. Understand and set your INTENTIONS for what you want to accomplishment.

4. "DO YOUR BEST" - that may mean taking small steps toward "doing". Celebrate the effort.

5. Remind yourself of your focus with daily AFFIRMATIONS. Automatically these will turn into habits.

(These tips were created and shared from the Most People Don't Academy Members earlier this week. Thank you Kelly Bishop, CMP, CMM , Doug Baarman , Martha Bunker, CPC, MPCC , Jami Stapelmann , Joshua David , Wayne M. Robinson CMP CMM , Isabel Pollen , Gail Lowney Alofsin ).

80% fail at their New Year's Resolutions by February 1st. Why? Goals need to be adjusted. A goal shouldn't be to lose 25 pounds, it should be to "do my best" to get more fit. Each day can be celebrated for steps toward fitness.

"I walked up the steps instead of riding the escalator."

"I chose not to eat dessert at lunch with my team."

"I drank a full glass of water upon waking and fasted until noon."

Enjoy these ideas and embrace them for SUCCESS to get your most important things DONE.

Your words resonate so much with what we really need to do rather than wasting potential not doing it my friend Bart Berkey Love the book and always be with me for days that I might slip into 'not doing' ... 👊

I love this reminder, especially the statement that the REAL goal is the feeling we get when we accomplish a goal! The most rewarding goals are those when we had a bit of slip-back on the way to accomplishing it. I had to learn, these slip-backs are not failures, instead they are reminders that I am human and the feeling I'll have when I do accomplish the goal is going to be great! Happy New Year!

Bart, I didn't just emoji 👍 like or emoji ❤ love your article. I emoji 👏 and verbally celebrated it to express my appreciation and kudos to educating your people to stop making New Year's resolutions, and rather focus on the FEELING of goal-setting accomplishment. Don't think about it. FEEL it. Well said. Most insight-FULL. Bravo! Thank you for sharing. I very much ❤ appreciate you. As you are always, be GREAT out there!
