Don't Be So Hard On Yourself

Don't Be So Hard On Yourself

On this particular day, it is my hope that you are poised to enjoy a productive week. Perhaps, you have big presentation, working on your budget, traveling, or simply working thru projects in the office. Right now, we are feeling certain pressures. We are at a point where we feel the pressure to perform and to reach the possibilities of our potential. As these pressures hit you from all angles, remember one thing...

Don't Be So Hard On Yourself.

  • This week, you may face the following scenarios,..
  • Perhaps the decision has not come out in your favor.
  • Perhaps the job went to someone else.
  • Perhaps you did not close the sale.
  • Perhaps you blew your last decision
  • Perhaps you simply did not give the best you had
  • Perhaps you let others around you down.
  • Perhaps you have lost confidence in yourself.
  • Perhaps your boss or colleagues do not fully appreciate what you are going thru.

Perhaps.....

The good news is that the day is new. Time to pick up the pieces AND savor the lesson learned. Ah yes, there will be a lesson to gain; experience to be provided from it, by it, and in spite of it.  However, as you process this, remember not to be so hard on yourself. Maybe it wasn't your time. Perhaps, you did not prepare as well as you could have. Whatever the outcome, understand that you will have another opportunity to get it right. Encourage yourself, Grow within yourself, but stop being so hard on yourself. Your best days are those where you accept where you are and take the necessary steps to move closer to where you want to be. Being nice to yourself is a huge step towards moving in the right direction.

So, make the most of the day. Relax, Release, and Re-visit what you can do to enjoy a better outcome. Above all, be kind to yourself.

To a Better You!!
