Don't You feel like an embarrassment of a man sometimes?

Don't You feel like an embarrassment of a man sometimes?

I feel like an embarrassment of a man sometimes.

I won't minimize the pressure that I feel in my world, but looking back at even situations right now and what I complain about and when I compare myself to the men that lived before me…

soldiers…

warriors..

men that fought in battles,

Men that died while fighting for their lives and the lives of others...

Men that got hurt, lost limbs, saw death and saw evil…

Me that suffered their entire lives …

I can't help but to take a knee and bow before them…

These were real men

REAL

FUCKING

MEN

Men where countries and societies were built upon…

Men that families depended on…

Men that were revered. Respected. Admired. Honored

And here I sit looking at my life and complaining about needing to go live every day… complaining that I need to market every day… complaining about the quality of my Wi-Fi and how I lost signal for 5 seconds…

What the fuck! How dare I?

How can I even sit here and complain about stupid shit??!!

I feel ashamed by doing this.

If men from 500, 100 and even 20 years ago would look at the men right now…if they would look at ME right now…

How disappointed would they be?

How embarrassed would they feel?

How sad would they be?

This would break their hearts.

These men would ask me:

I gave up my life for you???

I fought wars for YOU?

I endure all this suffering for this???

You the reader, YES YOU that is reading this right now:

What do you think these men would say to you if they were looking at how you act and what you complain about in your life right now???

What would they say to you?

Would they be proud of the man you are?

Would they say : WELL DONE BOY. and look at you with honor in their eyes?

Or would they feel embarrassed? And Ashamed? And confused?

And how would YOU feel about it?

I believe we all need to man up a bit. And then some more.

And stop complaining about stupid shit that only weak men complain about.

I know I do.

How about You?
