A Doorway to a World-Class City and Too Often an Exit for Medical-Surgical Excellence
Our incredible city, with top-notch entertainment, restaurants, sports, and outdoor experiences, lacks even one top-rated hospital or hospital system.
We all deserve better.
For the first time in my 45 years in Nevada, forces are beginning to coalesce with the singular goal of developing 5-star-level hospital care for our region.
Such an undertaking will require a unified vision, honest assessments, the shunning of mediocrity, the engagement of our philanthropic community willing to proudly support excellence, academic support, additional governmental funding, and a healthcare system devoted to investing and continually reinvesting its resources into the delivery of care, with none siphoned to non-care-related coffers.
With billions now spent on almost every intersection of this world-class metropolis, it is time to spend a few more billion on world-class healthcare, as the human dividends will be priceless.
