#DrawWhatYouSee

#DrawWhatYouSee

Following some enquiries after getting back in the book business, I have decided to scope out a book of my urban sketches with the working title #drawwhatyousee, an often used # of mine. I have made a start designing a cover (always first) and finding a title (first or second), crafting a table of contents and laying out a few pages to get a feel for the book, page size, image sizes, fonts etc. It is largely worked out in Indesign placing images on pages based on a page grid. I realise I have a lot of sketches of food vans.

I have begun some conversations with international, interstate and local mentors and I have already changed the chapter structure and the cover. Happy to hear any further suggestions for content. The last book took six years. Hopefully this one may be a bit less??
