Will drones swarm the AV industry?

There have been a number of quiet tech revolutions happening lately, creeping into our daily lives as we go about our business until one day, we're asking ourselves, how did these things get everywhere? The smartphone was a great example of this, and now both AI and drones have quietly normalised themselves both in work and our personal lives. Once relegated to the world of early-adopting hobbyists and militaries in the early 2010s, the mass proliferation and cheaper price points of drones have enabled the technology to scale up to unforeseen heights. Today, drones not only produce exceptional light shows, but offer opportunities in the world of monitoring, surveying, and filmmaking, and the industry has been taking notice.

Drone shows are not unusual these days, but is the AV industry's adoption of drones reaching new heights? With Integrated Systems Europe (ISE) 's drone zone at last year's show, and Midwich now offering drones as part of its offering, one thing is for sure... to mix our analogies here, there's no putting the drone swarm back in the bottle!
