E-Health Applications Summit - Optimizing patient pathways : What a high level and thought provoking event!

High Tech Connect Swiss https://hightechconnect.ch/ brought together a diversified line-up of speakers and functions from leading international healthcare technology companies, hospitals and research centers to present their latest solutions and achievements.

To ensure the neutrality of the panel addressing the question: How technology can support and improve patient pathways?   High Tech Connect Swiss  asked Lambert Montevecchi,  founder of Boost Consulting : a change management consultancy firm focused on improving patient pathways in hospitals around the world to be the moderator.

The three guest speakers were:

• Lars Maaløe, CTO of Corti : an award winning Danish startup, who showcased their invention and demonstrated not only how it facilitates the information flow and decision making in an Emergency Department but also how it can ultimately save lives.
• Claudia Baresi, Lean Manager of Fondazione Poliambulanza of Brescia: one of the most technologically advanced hospitals in Italy, described the hospital’s digital health strategy and explained how they have been deploying technology to generate improvements in the surgical pathway.
• Satschin Bansal, Senior Director of Digital Health and Hospital Solutions EMEA of Zimmer Biomet : an 8 billion $ medical device multinational who presented an ecosystem of differentiated solutions which provide more personalized care for the patient. 

The session offered attendees an objective and enlightening discussion around the use of technology in the patient pathway and ended with a stirring debate and many questions from the audience.
