EFT Performing Air Data Boom Tests

Within about one hour EFT installed its non-intrusive wifi-based air data boom on a Blackshape Prime and test-flew the air data system of the Blackshape against the boom FTI. Real-time analysis was performed on board by an FTE with a wifi-connected laptop. Blackshape data is recorded through its Dynon Skyview avionics suite.

First post-flight analysis results show a surprisingly smooth alignment of the 2 data sources including during high AoA and sideslip manoeuvers.

EFT's boom can be mounted / dismounted to / from basically any aircraft within minutes. No wiring required.
