In many applications, they even benefit from lubrication for life, which means that these EMC cylinders are maintenance-free.
With basic lubrication ex-factory, manufacturers of machine tools and handling and automation solutions gain significant competitive advantages.

Key features of EMC cylinders
· Lubricated For Life: With the "Lubricated For Life (LFL)" option, EMC cylinders can achieve a rated service life of up to 15,000 km with basic factory lubrication.
· LinSelect tool: Design engineers can use LinSelect to easily determine if lifetime lubrication is possible for a specific application. The EMC design can be completed in minutes and transferred to the online configurator for complete configuration. In addition, the corresponding CAD files are automatically generated and supplied.
· Ready-to-install solution: EMC cylinders combine anodised aluminium profiles in standard ISO sizes with an integrated ball screw.
· Extensive testing and validation: Thanks to advanced production processes and extensive testing with lubricants, Bosch Rexroth has achieved long lubrication intervals, validated under various conditions of use.
