Embrace the Messy Middle

Embrace the Messy Middle

Embrace the messy middle.

That's where we face our biggest challenges. It's where our blocks and fears live. It's where we have to make a choice - abandon our dreams or push forward to the other side where we're welcomed by a better version of ourselves. The version that has developed new skills, experiences, and courage because we were brave enough to do the work.

Embrace the messy middle.

It's uncomfortable. But it's always worth the effort because of what we learn, how we grow, and who we become.

Plus, your dreams are always worth the effort because they are yours!

Ideas to Inspire

1. The most fulfilled and successful people in the world invest in this.

2. Do you believe in free will? The Great Free Will Debate is a short video exploring this fascinating topic.

3. Inspiring Quote: "Addiction is a progressive narrowing of the things that bring you pleasure. Happiness is a progressive expansion of the things that bring you pleasure. The former emerges passively. The latter takes work." - Andrew D. Huberman, Ph.D.

4. Book Recommendation: If one of your simple pleasures is spending hours at a bookshop walking through the aisles in search of the perfect book, you'll probably enjoy The Yellow-Lighted Bookshop by Lewis Buzbee. It's a delightful memoir from a former bookseller.

5. Journaling Prompt: What did you discover about yourself while embracing the messy middle?
