Emotional Needs vs. Productivity

Emotional Needs vs. Productivity

Productivity

Sometimes productivity is seen as the ultimate goal or as an even greater prize than actually completing your tasks. Everybody wants to be productive and work without taking breaks, but most of the time they see this as an impossible thing to do.

Actually, it’s not that hard to be productive. The secret lays in a bit (more) of personal development and understanding.

In order to be productive you have to have a certain mindset. But usually if you just tell yourself “Right now I will sit down at my desk and work for 1 hour”… you will get bored or tired after just a couple of minutes. Emotional needs

The key to productivity is being focused on work, besides creating a nice working space that motivates you.

Right now, I am talking from experience. Not long ago I went through a stressful situation. I was aware of the tension that was building up inside of me: I needed rest and relaxation but I was terribly anxious that if I do this, I will not have enough time to solve everything I had to do.

After this, I got to work. And let me tell you how good everything went!

Next time you find yourself in a situation like this, always choose to rest. Afterwards you will be so much more motivate and productive your anxiety will go away in no time!
