Employee Spotlight: Rachel Morse

Employee Spotlight: Rachel Morse

How long have you been with Lindt & Sprungli?

I’ve been with Lindt for a little over 8 years… Time is flying by!

What was your first role at Lindt and what is it now?

I joined Lindt shortly after college as the Marketing Coordinator, overseeing the administration arm of the marketing team. I was able to work across brand, creative, and communications projects to learn as much as I could about the Marketing function. From there, I became the Associate Communications Manager leading our PR and social efforts for the US. I have now entered my fourth year in this role and feel very confident about the future of our Communications department. Follow us on Instagram and TikTok to see what we’re up to!

What’s the best advice for someone who just started their career at Lindt? There are so many fantastic and talented people here, so I would encourage them to find a mentor or a peer that you can lean on, ask questions, and seek advice from. I have been lucky enough to get to know many people, across different departments, that have helped guide and support me throughout my time here. I’m so grateful for those relationships.

What inspired you to participate in the Women Inclusive Network (WIN)?

I was initially drawn to WIN because of my desire to actively engage with Lindt's Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) and contribute to fostering an inclusive workplace culture. Joining as the Communications Chair, I found myself immersed in a community dedicated to empowering and supporting women across all departments of the organization. Through my involvement, I've had the privilege of organizing impactful events, including our annual International Women's Day celebration, where we amplify the voices and achievements of women within Lindt. For me, the best part of WIN is connecting with members across the organization that I don’t work with day-to-day. This group creates a safe space for members to exchange ideas, goals, and perspectives. I would encourage anyone interested in joining WIN to check us out! Whether it's through mentorship programs, skill-building workshops, or networking opportunities, WIN continuously inspires me to strive for excellence and uplift others along the way.

What are you most proud of in your career?

When I was promoted to Associate Communications Manager, I was a team of one. It was intimidating to handle the Comms function by myself, especially at the beginning of the pandemic. I’m proud of the strides I’ve made during that time and feel like I rose to the occasion. I’m also extremely proud of our “Life is a Ball” activation during football’s biggest game of the year. The social campaign that accompanied the television commercial was probably my favorite thing I’ve worked on to date. It was incredible to associate Lindt with the year’s biggest stage.

What is something unique or interesting about you that no one knows?

I thought I was going to be a jazz singer when I was little. Every living room was my very own arena!

Why do you love about #LifeAtLindt?

What I love about #LifeAtLindt is the people. There are great individuals all across this organization and I’ve been lucky enough to work alongside them and for them.

My favorite Lindt product?

Our Lindt CLASSIC RECIPE Milk bar never disappoints!
