Employee Wellbeing: Not just a 'nice to have', but essential for business performance!
Many managers know staff wellbeing is important, but many find it hard to find time or ways to support their teams’ unique wellbeing needs: At Rener Wellbeing, we have surveyed thousands of managers across a range of organisations globally, when developing bespoke wellbeing strategies for their organisations. From the data, we know that most managers understand why employee wellbeing is important and why they should be creating enabling and encouraging environments for their staff. We recognise the challenges that managers face in supporting the wellbeing of their teams - time constraints is the main obstacle, followed by a lack of knowledge on the practical ways to support their teams’ wellbeing. That's why we're dedicated to providing practical tools and tips to empower managers to navigate these challenges and cultivate environments where their teams can thrive, even when time and resources are tight, (and highlight why it is worth spending this time to support team members’ wellbeing).
But why is workplace wellbeing so crucial for business performance? We know that happier healthier staff = a nicer place to work! (who wouldn’t want this?). However, some managers feel this comes at the cost of work performance or what feel like essential tasks getting done on time. Across industries, and organisations size, we know improving staff wellbeing doesn’t come at the cost of business performance, it actually helps teams to thrive - and we can see measurable improvements around metrics impacting bottom lines.
The business case for workplace wellbeing:
At Rener Wellbeing, we've seen first-hand the impact of bespoke wellbeing strategies, tailored to the unique needs of each organisation. Through targeted interventions and initiatives, we consistently see measurable improvements in self-reported wellbeing and business metrics, delivering tangible ROI for our clients.
