5yDo big companies truly collaborate? The old thinking is you only collaborate if you are going to get something in return. A transactional approach to business. New world is you truly collaborate and share even when it isn't clear what you will be receiving. It's very hard for the more senior people in these companies that didn't grow up this way. A much bigger shift and approach than what people think. It needs to be modeled and coached.

5yThanks for sharing this Ian! The importance of sharing data is important. However collaboration goes way beyond sharing data. At the end of the day it is also about bringing people together around a unified vision, and sharing data and sharing control, risks and rewards. Just thought I would share my 2c worth.
