2. The International Energy Agency's (IEA) Net Zero Emissions by 2050 Scenario, presented in the Net Zero by 2050: A Roadmap for the Global Energy Sector report in 2021, highlights the urgent need to accelerate the deployment of clean energy technologies worldwide.
Due to the recent global tensions, there has been significant pressure on global energy supply chains, resulting in increased prices of oil, gas, and coal, as well as shortages of semiconductors and critical minerals required for clean energy technologies. This energy crisis presents the opportunity to accelerate the shift away from fossil fuels, which can be done by investing in renewables, energy efficiency, and other clean energy technologies.
The report sheds light on the significant role of solar photovoltaic (PV) technology in the transition to clean energy. Currently, China holds the majority of global manufacturing capacity to shape emerging markets for technologies such as batteries, low-emissions hydrogen, and others crucial to the clean energy transition.
3. Returnable & redesigned the packaging to help our decarbonization goals
Recommended by LinkedIn
The principle of Returnable Packing is based on the 3R approach of Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle. By reducing single-trip carton boxes and reusing polypropylene boxes for more than 15 cycles, we can reduce the amount of packaging waste that ends up in landfills. In addition, polypropylene is 100% recyclable, which means that even at the end of its utility and life cycle, it can be recycled and turned into a new product.
With our redesigned packaging, we'll reduce our CO2 emissions by 250 tons/year and reduce wooden waste by 6000 kg, a significant step towards sustainable packaging.
4. Case study: Cold storage model ready to support the cold chain in India
