ENOC Group, Chevron explore new business opportunities

Senior officials of the ENOC Group and Chevron met recently in Dubai to enhance cooperation and discuss existing and future potential business opportunities.

The meeting between officials from the two companies was attended by Saeed Al Tayer, vice chairman and Saif Humaid Al Falasi, CEO among other ENOC Group officials. The high-ranking Chevron Corporation delegation was led by Michael Wirth, vice chairman of the Board and executive vice president, Midstream and Development, and included Jay Pryor, vice president of Business Development.

The two sides agreed to explore long-term strategic collaboration and comes at a time when the ENOC Group is continuing to expand its businesses across the energy value chain, WAM reported.

"ENOC Group and Chevron have had a successful long-term collaboration for nearly two decades and it is based on this foundation that we continue to look at future collaborations that are mutually beneficial to both parties. We hope to build on our mutual track record and explore new business opportunities," Al Tayer said.

Welcoming the opportunity to meet ENOC Group leaders, Wirth remarked: "Chevron and the ENOC Group have had a strong partnership for nearly two decades and we remain committed to ongoing collaboration."

The alliance between Chevron and ENOC Group extends across various aspects of downstream operations ranging from lubricant marketing to aviation refuelling.
