Enough!
A mother who just lost her children to Israeli bombing in Gaza

Enough!

At what point do we say enough? When are we complicit by being silent?

When is the fear of losing our jobs more important than the death of innocents?

Where is our moral compass?

I have a big ask.

Can you imagine you are her? Can you imagine you are living in a decrepit place but you call it home and you have two vivacious kids, who were in the room next to your kitchen when the bombs fell?

Can you imagine how it feels?

Thank you, Hugo. You can be pro Palestinian and pro Israel at the same time, but you must be anti Hamas and and anti all terrorist groups. You can be anti government policies (Israel, United States, anywhere) without be racist (anti Jewish, anti Muslim, etc.). Your opinions should be evidence based. Your thinking should be informed by truth. You should have strong opinions that are loosely held (meaning that you have to keep an open mind to new ideas and as you learn and grow personally and emotionally your opinions change). I appreciate the thoughts and comments. My purpose is for us to be thinking about what we are doing because that is all we can control. And also for us to consider if we are conflating Hamas and the horrible things they did with the killing of innocent men, mothers and children. Are we strong emotionally to separate the two, Hamas and the innocent or are we weak and want to be carried in a red river of revenge?
