The Era of AI: Better Synthesis

Recently, at a seminar, a professor mentioned that, a few years ago, essential skills included mastering Excel or speaking perfect English, all aimed at providing better service to companies. Connecting this idea with a contribution from another professional in the AI sector, he highlighted how we used to perform tasks that were not specifically required, but now, with AI, we can focus more on the work we were actually hired for.

My reflection is as follows: today we graduate from university believing that knowing how to use Word, PowerPoint, or Excel is key to being useful in a company. However, what we are starting to see in different talks is that, more than memorizing Excel formulas, what will be crucial is how we can express our ideas clearly and concisely so that a machine—in this case, AI—understands us and executes what we envision accurately. In the field of AI, this is called "Promp", but I refer to it as perfecting the ability to synthesize our ideas.
