Welcome to the part 5 of our series and the final part in the event planning process - POST-EVENT STRIKE.

Key components to focus on for striking an event include:


STRIKE DOWN AND CLEAN UP

  • Coordinate the breakdown of the venue and return of equipment, stock, and/or infrastructure.
  • Ensure the venue is left in good condition.


COLLECT FEEDBACK

  • Send out surveys to guests, staff, and vendors.
  • Review feedback for future improvements.


RECONCILE BUDGET

  • Finalize all payments and reconcile the budget.
  • Evaluate financial outcomes against goals.


DEBRIEF WITH THE TEAM

  • Hold a post-event meeting to discuss successes and areas for improvement.
  • Document lessons learned.


SEND THANK YOU MESSAGES

  • Thank attendees, sponsors, vendors, and volunteers.
  • Share event highlights or photos.


REPORT RESULTS

  • Prepare a report summarizing the event's outcomes, including attendance, revenue, and feedback.
  • Share the report with stakeholders and team members.
