2. Community Liaison Committee Established for Wind Farm 1

On November 12th we welcomed the establishment of the second Community Liaison Committee (CLC) for our project, specifically for Wind Farm 1.

Our CLC’s serve as vital bridges between EverWind and the communities where we operate. These committees bring together a diverse group of community members to ensure open dialogue, share updates, and address questions or concerns related to our projects. For Wind Farm 1, the CLC will enhance collaboration by broadening representation and providing additional opportunities for meaningful engagement.

Community Liaison Committees are a cornerstone of our approach to sustainability. They ensure our projects align with the needs and priorities of the local community while maintaining transparency and trust. By fostering open communication, the committees help us identify opportunities to make a positive impact, address concerns proactively, and create shared value for everyone involved.

We are excited to continue working closely with the community through this new CLC and look forward to building lasting partnerships as we advance renewable energy projects that benefit Nova Scotia and beyond. Thank you to everyone who contributes to making these committees a success!

3. Our People

Spotlight on Andrew Robson

This month, we are highlighting Andrew Robson, our Senior Vice President, Terminals. A Halifax native, Andrew has come full circle, bringing over 20 years of energy industry experience back home to Nova Scotia to help drive EverWind’s mission of sustainability and global decarbonization.

Andrew’s career journey took him from Halifax to Toronto, Montreal, Calgary, and the Caribbean, where he led Sol Petroleum’s LPG business across 14 countries. His broad experience includes roles of increasing seniority across diverse commodities, delivering energy products across Canada and the United States, and spearheading innovative business strategies. Despite the incredible opportunities, Andrew always felt Halifax was “truly home” and is thrilled to be back, spending time with his family and reconnecting with the place where he grew up.

At EverWind, Andrew leads the Point Tupper terminal team, praising their dedication to safety, infrastructure integrity, and collaboration. “They care about what they do every day,” he says. “It’s always a pleasure to visit the terminal—they’re friendly, patient, and always willing to answer my many questions.”

Andrew’s leadership philosophy focuses on empowering teams, continuous improvement, and building “atomic habits” for consistent success. “Constantly seeking a ‘home run’ can create challenges. Working together, improving incrementally, and then celebrating the big wins as a team—that’s what drives meaningful progress,” he explains.

In his downtime, Andrew enjoys skiing with his family, walking the dogs, and cheering on his kids’ outdoor adventures, such as his son who races for the Martock Ski Race Team.

Andrew recently represented EverWind Fuels during a panel discussion at the recent Marine Renewables Canada Conference, hosted in Halifax. Welcome home, Andrew, and thank you for your contributions to EverWind and Nova Scotia!

4. Terminal Updates

Throughout the month the Point Tupper Terminal team gladly hosted two groups of students for educational tours, providing them with an inside look at our operations and the future of green energy.

We welcomed O2 students from the Strait Area Education and Recreation Centre, as well as students from Antigonish East, to our terminal. Each visit was a unique opportunity to share the transformative potential of green energy and how EverWind’s operations play a role in global decarbonization efforts. The students engaged with team members who showcased our facility’s infrastructure, discussed safety protocols, and explained how the terminal is central to our green hydrogen and ammonia production development.

Additionally, the team supported the Wind Farm 1 Community Liaison Committee (CLC) tour, emphasizing the interconnectedness of our renewable energy projects. By exploring how the proposed wind sites integrate with the terminal and future green hydrogen and ammonia production facility the community members gained valuable insights into the project.

We are always thrilled to welcome members of our community to our Terminal site, to education and collaborate, inspiring young minds to dream big and explore careers in renewable energy and innovation. We are already looking forward to hosting more students in the coming months. Thank you to our terminal team for their hospitality and enthusiasm!

5. Burin Peninsula Project Showcased During International Mission

In early November, Daniel Lee, Chief of Staff at EverWind Fuels, presented an update on the Burin Peninsula Green Energy Project to an international delegation of Canadian Ambassadors visiting St. John’s, NL. The delegation, representing 27 countries, participated in an economic mission hosted by the Government of Newfoundland and Labrador to showcase the province’s vast energy resources and economic potential.

“The Burin Peninsula project is a cornerstone of EverWind’s ambitious vision,” Daniel stated. “We have already achieved key milestones, including over 18 months of environmental data collection, the largest wind measurement campaign in the province, and the submission of our Environmental Assessment Registration. EverWind will also deliver direct economic benefits and jobs for Newfoundlanders and Labradorians, particularly for the communities of the Burin Peninsula,” he added.

The economic mission provided delegates with a firsthand experience of Newfoundland and Labrador’s vibrant culture, its significant contributions to the Canadian economy, and opportunities for international collaboration. Delegates engaged in discussions across critical sectors, including energy, natural resources, ocean technology, climate change, and innovation.

Daniel commended the province’s leadership in hosting international missions, noting, “EverWind appreciates Newfoundland and Labrador’s efforts to bring global leaders together to learn about the province’s burgeoning green energy industry. These initiatives are opening doors to international relationships that will drive economic growth and sustainable development.”

Through initiatives like this, the Government of Newfoundland and Labrador and EverWind Fuels continue to demonstrate their shared commitment to fostering international collaboration and advancing the province’s green energy future. “This ongoing collaboration exemplifies our dedication to making Newfoundland and Labrador a global hub for green hydrogen production,” Daniel concluded.
