Every day is Doctors’ Day!. Let’s celebrate

Neither is it July 1st, nor is it Doctors’ Day, but for us, every day must be a Doctors’ day.

Read on and you will agree too.

With nearly 15 years in the healthcare field, I’ve had the privilege of meeting over 1,500 doctors across the country apart from those stalwarts I met in the institutions where I worked. This extensive experience has deeply impacted me and inspired me to share my reflections.

We all understand the significance of doctors in our lives, it is a true joy to articulate my gratitude for their medical miracles, which often seem like acts of divine intervention.

When health challenges arise, the struggle is internal for the patient, while doctors act as the external champions.

They are indeed exceptional individuals, bringing immense joy in moments such as childbirth and recovery from a complex conditions.

Doctors hold a distinctive place in our society due to several key reasons:

1. Specialized Knowledge and Skills: They dedicate decades to intense training and education to acquire in-depth expertise in medical science, utilisation of technology, diagnosis, and path breaking treatments.

2. Trust and Responsibility: Patients place immense trust in doctors to make critical decisions about their health. This trust carries a significant responsibility, demanding high ethical standards and motivating doctors to deliver their best.

3. Compassion and Empathy: Doctors often meet patients in their most vulnerable states, requiring a deep sense of compassion and empathy. Their commitment often involves personal sacrifices, including putting their own well-being on the line.

4. Lifesaving Potential: The impact of their work can only be life-changing. Doctors not only save lives but also enhance the quality of life, unmindful of the fact that they too face the emotional burden of situations where their efforts fall short.

5. Public Health Contribution: Beyond individual care, doctors play a crucial role in public health through preventive measures, vaccination programs, and health education, serving as guardians of community well-being.

These aspects collectively highlight the special status doctors have in our society. They are revered for their expertise, trusted for their decisions, and valued for their profound contributions to health and wellness.

As I celebrate every breath of my life, blessed by God and cared for by the Doctors, I offer my sincere prayers to the Almighty to keep our Doctors safe, and with their service, our society safe and healthy from the diseases of both body and mind.

Thank you very much💐💐, for your kind words… they mean a lot to me/us, to rededicate for “ SARVE JANA SUKHINO BHAVANTHU”… 🙏🙏
