Every day is Earth Day at Ideum

The annual Earth Day celebrations are a wonderful reminder to take stock of our world and the role people play in shaping its health.

Here at Ideum, we're fortunate that our frequent collaboration with museums and other institutions keeps the planet at the front of our thoughts year-round.

We're both proud and grateful for these opportunities to help educate and inspire others to share love and respect for the web of life that we consider our worldwide community. And sustainability is not just part of the stories we tell, but baked into our mission.

In an industry that doesn't always have the best reputation for being gentle on the planet, competing with those who take shortcuts can feel like swimming upstream. But sticking to our principles has been good for both our business and our community.

One of our favorite initiatives has been our fight against planned obsolescence. We intentionally create products that are physically built to last and easy to update or upgrade.

For public spaces, this helps future-proof the installations that are built around them, turning what could have been a one-off expenditure into an investment that can carry forward to future exhibits. Our reputation for durability has even brought us a loyal international clientele. We hope our community will join us in actively honoring our planet, today and every day. Happy Earth Day!
