Everything Multi-Sport - Festive Fun
We are back from our self supported Senda Litoral hike along the Costa del Sol. I have a few blisters but feel great - thanks to Compeed blister plasters - do you use them?
I would recommend a self supported event but really think about packing - I took way too much in my rucksack!
We also got to try out the Spanish public transport system on our way back on two buses and a train ride and they were excellent - very clean and efficient.
I'm going to write a Blog about it in the new year so you can give it a go if it sounds interesting.
Now on to this weeks swim, bike, run and holistics news, tips and reviews.

Ways to Keep Your Rear End Comfortable as you Ride
We have all experienced a little discomfort at the end of a long ride and the bike industry has come up with some interesting products to make our rides more comfortable.
The Air Seat is one of the latest inventions. It does add some weight (250g) to your bike but if ultimate comfort is your goal, then this could be worth the £70 price tag.
Another solution could be the Shock Stop from Redshift and is a suspension stem and suspension seat post system and costs £264.99 for the seat post.
Another option is the Brooks B72 saddle which is a classic design that Brooks have decided to bring back to appeal to mountain bike riders and costs £170. I have put one on my Christmas wish list and I think my son has got it for me so I’m looking forward to using it next year.
Does the Ideal Cycling Cadence Really Exist?
Cycling cadence is always a hot topic for cyclists and triathletes. You may want to adjust your cadence depending on your goals which for cycling may be for efficiency and for triathletes it may be a combination of efficiency and matching to your run cadence to aid with transitions.
