The Evolution in my Public Speaking over an Year!

Had an amazing opportunity from the firm I am working for to speak a couple things in front of #160 folks about the #Product I am working on these days.

#PublicSpeaking - I remember how I did in front of 10 people a year back. It was heck amount #boring, #unconnected with the audience, AND completely #unengaged because I was so much focused on my #content which I wanted to vomit out! ;)

However, it’s the result of #consistent work , #learning while applying and speaking starting with 5-10-50 and over 500 people this January. Even speaking for few minutes from the opportunity which my #mentors have given multiple times in the past year, I can see the difference! 

That too learning from amazing leaders who speak in front of Tens of thousands people all around the 🌍.

🚨 Alert: It’s not THEORETICAL learning but COMPLETELY #APPLIED in different situations and #experiences!

A couple things I have learnt till now:

 ✅ Be #Concise

✅ Understand your #audience

✅ Deliver the message via #Story

✅ #WakeUp your audience before you start, as there is a high chance they might be Sleeping 😆!

✅ #Engage with them and make them #think and TALK.

✅ Speak in the way with the #content which they will understand and have FUN listening.

✅ MOST IMPORTANT- #connect with your audience before delivering the MESSAGE.

✅ YOUR Posture! What you wear, how you stand, and how is your VISION while you are looking at your audience. NEVER look on a particular set of #FOLKS.

These are just the #bucket in the 🌊. For sure, have to learn a ton of things. But, guess what!

The journey of accomplishing the miles towards a #Goal of speaking and IMPACTING thousands of people like my #mentors do is so #soothing and SATISFYING.

I know it will take time! But, the time will come where I would be 1000 times better than I am today! And DEFINITELY in few Years the MICROPHONE will be having thousands of PEOPLE in front of it. But you know what, the process of improving and accomplishing small miles provides much more happiness than the FINAL DESTINATION.

Questions which you might be thinking if you are in the process!

1. Are you #LEARNING and #GROWING?
2. Is there any Mentor who is guiding you in the path?
3. Are you #APPLYING or just #READING/ WATCHING Videos?
4. Have a #VISION and Solid #WHY, behind every #ACTION you take!
