Effective running begins with the shoe. The Hoka shoe is one of my favorites in terms of comfort and reliability. It's not just the comfort, but the technology and design into these sneakers that allow runners to reach their full potential. Having a good shoe when running is extremely crucial for not only performance, but safety. Talking from experience, protecting your ankles and arches will save you from those nasty shin splints!
