How did I get HERE? Again......

Have you ever found yourself wondering “How did I get here” or “Where am I” in relation to where you thought you would be or who you would be in the world, in your life, your goals, your relationships?

Have you ever felt lost in your own life? Lost in a world where your environment is chosen for you, the landscape shapes the who of whom you have become?

Have you stopped at a time in your life of caring for, supporting, creating, and working for others and wondered, where did I go, the “I” of who I really am? Then stopped and asked, Who am I anymore?

We can find ourselves lost in our own lives. Wondering how we got “here” and where “there” used to be, where it “went” and where it is “now”.

You get lost in being or pleasing so many others; bosses, parents, spouses, children, relatives, friends……when your needs arose you barely recognized them, or how to speak to them much less ask for them.

Your wants, your desires, your soul’s voice – didn’t get lost though, as it keeps calling and calling you to be – all for you, as all of you.

Even still…. Have you ever felt lost in your own life?

Sure, you go through all the motions. Sure, life feels good, looks good, and even seems to be moving forward. Then, like the seasons, a similar or familiar occurrence happens?

Then BAM! Something that seems to suck something out of you, takes you back to the beginning – and you sit dizzy in the spell of “how did I end up feeling this, being this, hearing this, experiencing this, allowing this” again.

We can eliminate the “loop” effect. You know the code to decode it and rewrite it. Never to loop again.

You tackled this feeling, this happening, this reaction before. Many times, before, if you were able to see your past – clearly, not all muddled up with your story, the trauma, the disappointment, but clearly – so you can examine the moment, the trigger, the root of the non-serving story, maybe you could get out of the co-dependent dysfunctional loops back and forth from the bad to the good, back to the bad.

So, you dig in, you look online. You read about your feelings, the happening, the obstacle, the tribe, community – anything that can help you find the path out.

You get better and better at knowing about yourself, as it pertains to the reaction, the trigger, the feelings of ending up in the same place – emotionally.

You can see and FEEL the stories, reactions, and triggers so much more now – though! UGH! Why?

Because like a soda/coke bottle – when you shake it up and take the cap off – what does it do? Everything explodes out.

A past therapist I visited once at 19, wisely told me “Once you are brave enough to face your life, and all you are in it – you will uncap that bottle. When that bottle is uncapped – expect to experience every part of you – as you can’t control the contents, as you couldn’t control it before – that is why you “bottled it up” – but you can control your reaction to the spray in your face when you commit to facing it all.”

Taoist believe in embracing and knowing your light and your dark. That doesn’t mean we have to live in the dark – looping in and out of light.

I know this path, I know confronting myself and being radically honest with all of me, the light and the dark, and the grey in between until it can become more clear to be seen.

Send me a message and let’s start unhinging from the triggers and release you. That is when your Highest-Self Living Begins!
