I am honored to lead SSA as its new CEO, especially at a time when promoting women-led businesses is increasingly valued in the academic world. This transition marks a significant step towards modernized business structures, aligning with the values and goals of our esteemed university partners.

Investment and Innovation: Elevating Student Experiences

Our commitment to enhancing student experiences is stronger than ever. Significant investments in new systems and personnel are driving our efforts to improve program options. Key innovations include a guarantee of minimum cultural encounters (5+ in every program), along with comprehensive pre-and-post-program language testing. These enhancements not only enrich students’ cultural immersion but also bolster their CVs.

Career Advancement: Bridging Study Abroad and Professional Growth

Understanding the importance of career progression, we are introducing a guaranteed workshop focused on interview techniques and incorporating study abroad experiences into CVs. This initiative is designed to boost students' career opportunities, reflecting our dedication to their long-term success.

Global Expansion: New Opportunities in Patagonia and Panamá

We are thrilled to announce the opening of two new SSA locations in Patagonia and Panamá. These additions expand our global reach, offering students diverse and enriching environments for their study-abroad adventures.

Digital Transformation: A New Website and Rebranding for Enhanced Engagement

In line with our commitment to modernization, we are excited to announce the development of a new website and rebranding, set to launch in March 2024. The change of name to SSA Education Abroad reflects a more accurate description of our organization's mission. This new name encompasses the variety of academic and experiential learning programs in both English and Spanish that we will offer in the years to come. This platform will embody modern simplicity, offering a streamlined application process tailored to our partners and their students.
