Ray Coleman Named Koniag Government Services CIO

Ray Coleman, a U.S. Army veteran and an information technology professional, has joined Koniag Government Services to serve as chief information officer.

KGS said Monday he will oversee operations related to its IT and cybersecurity programs. This includes providing technical leadership and presiding in strategic planning and project development to meet the company’s future technology needs and achieve IT goals and objectives.


Doug Jankovich Appointed International Strategy & Growth VP at HII Mission Technologies

Doug Jankovich, a more than two-decade U.S. Air Force veteran, was appointed as vice president of international strategy and growth at HII‘s mission technologies business arm, according to a LinkedIn post on Sunday. 

The executive most recently served as VP of strategy and growth at the military shipbuilding company and was a VP of business development and strategy at Alison Science and Technology in 2021.


GovCon Industry Vet Bill Bodie Joins CSIS

Bill Bodie, a more-than-three-decade defense and civil engineering industry veteran, has been appointed senior director of development at the Center for Strategic and International Studies, GovCon Wire has learned.

Bodie most recently served as development director at the Center for Strategic and Budgetary Assessments and was a visiting fellow at the Lexington Institute before he joined CSBA in April 2019.


Timothy Waltz Joins Riverside Research as Sensors & Systems Unit VP; Steven Omick Quoted

Timothy Waltz, a more than two-decade defense and intelligence sector veteran, has been named vice president of the sensors and systems business unit at Riverside Research.

The nonprofit organization said Friday he will oversee technology research and development efforts within the military and intelligence community in his new role.


Chance Saltzman Confirmed as USSF Chief of Space Operations, Promoted to General

Lt. Gen. Chance Saltzman – deputy chief of space operations for operations, cyber and nuclear at the U.S. Space Force — has received Senate confirmation to serve as the branch’s chief of operations.

His rank will change to general and he will succeed Gen. John “Jay” Raymond, who will retire from the military after 38 years of service, the U.S. Air Force said Friday.
