Exhibition Coverage: Towards Innovation, Quality, and the Future! Hanway's SuperCorrExpo 2024 Draws Attention

The SuperCorrExpo 2024 in the U.S. officially kicked off on September 9. At Booth 1923, Hanway showcased its automated, intelligent, and digital high-speed inline production line—Revo2500W (Inline)—and comprehensive industrial digital packaging inkjet solutions. The event attracted numerous attendees who were drawn to the diverse packaging samples and various equipment demonstrations.

The Revo2500W (Inline) is a new generation of Multi Pass series digital inkjet printing machines designed by Hanway, focusing on differentiation. It adopts a mature digital inline solution where the Revo2500W inkjet unit serves as the digital core, and can be linked with various modules such as slotting, drying, varnishing, and stacking. This integration results in reduced labor, fewer processes, and higher efficiency, achieving large-scale automated production. This extensive application potential brings higher added value.

The Revo2500W (Inline), also known as the "Small High-Speed Inline Line," achieves a stable production speed of 1,400 m²/hr. Based solely on the printing area of the cardboard, it can reach a high output of 2,000 m²/hr. The system allows for seamless order switching, continuous printing of multiple orders without halting, and handles industrial-grade order volumes of 10,000 to 20,000 square meters per day. This elevates the scanning digital packaging printing speed to a new level, positioning the machine between scanning printers and high-speed Single Pass machines.

The Revo2500W (Inline) also impresses with its printing quality. With selectable color modes (4/6 colors), it not only handles various corrugated materials like kraft and white cards but also supports high-quality coated paper printing for high-value color orders. Its 2.5-meter wide printing capability ensures stable full-coverage printing, while its full-color variable data printing capabilities allow for efficient delivery of small batch orders and personalized premium packaging, offering new growth opportunities.

"In ideal conditions, a traditional chain printer can handle about 50 orders per shift, requiring 5-6 color changes, and the complex plate changes often lead to errors. The Revo2500W ‘Small High-Speed’ has revolutionized scanning speeds and can handle small batch orders while also printing on coated paper for color prints. In actual use, Hanway's machine can complete nearly 100 orders per shift, significantly speeding up our production while reducing plate-making and offset printing costs. Our clients are very satisfied with the printing quality. Now, we turn to the W machine for orders under 300 pieces and for scattered color-printed cartons," said a customer from Shengda Packaging, a user of Hanway's Revo2500W.

At the exhibition, the Revo2500W (Inline) demonstrated the "inkjet + drying" inline solution. The inkjet unit employs multi-level droplet technology, where large droplets enhance color richness and vibrancy, and small droplets are ideal for fine images. The combination of multiple droplet sizes ensures smooth and natural gradation, with every detail accurately and excellently rendered even at high speeds. The drying unit uses safe and efficient hot air drying technology, ensuring uniform drying in a short time, and preventing overheating that could cause color distortion and paper deformation. It excels in drying coated paper prints.

"We have always sought more competitive production equipment, and the Hanway Revo2500W (Inline) can efficiently handle various jobs with different print volumes. Even with multiple SKUs, all versions require only a single preparation. Regarding our environmental concerns, Hanway stated they use high-density water-based waterproof inks suitable for various packaging applications, including food-grade packaging. This gives us great confidence in the future of digital packaging printing," commented an attendee at the event.
