Expanding Our Horizons: Why Our Business Events Reach Beyond the Inland Empire

Hey everyone, it’s Edward!

I get this question a lot: "Why do you host business events outside the Inland Empire, in places like LA and Orange County?" So, here’s my take on why this makes perfect sense for us.

The thing is, the Inland Empire is our home turf—absolutely. It’s where we focus a ton of our energy, but it's definitely not the only place we play ball. We've got members all over Southern California, and we’re all about supporting them, no matter where they're located.

"Every time we host an event outside the Inland Empire, it's like throwing a stone into a pond—the ripples create endless opportunities for our members to connect, grow, and thrive. We're not just expanding geographically; we're expanding possibilities!" -Edward Ornelas, President/CEO, Inland Empire Regional Chamber of Commerce

Why Stick to One Playground?

When we step out into LA or Orange County, we’re not just randomly throwing darts on a map. We’re thinking big. Each event outside our main stomping grounds is about linking up with new faces, snagging fresh opportunities, and yes, building some seriously cool partnerships.

New Faces, New Opportunities

Imagine bumping into someone who could be your next big client or a partner who’s got the tech you need to skyrocket your business. That's what happens at these events. Our members get to meet folks they wouldn’t usually meet back home. And let's be real, the more we mix it up, the more we all grow.

It’s a Two-Way Street

Hosting events outside the Inland Empire also lets other businesses see what we’ve got cooking in our neck of the woods. It’s about showing off the best of what our area has to offer and getting some of that love back.

Always Expanding

My goal? Keep pushing our boundaries—north, south, east, and west. We’re here to shake things up and grab every chance we can to hook our members up with new opportunities, whether that's a new customer or a dope partnership.

So, to anyone wondering why we’re not sticking to just our backyard—think bigger. The business world is huge, and we’re just getting started. Let’s make those connections and keep the doors open for all kinds of possibilities.

You can expand your contacts. You never know who you're going to meet along the way. It makes perfect sense and I'm happy to see the IERCC reaching beyond the Inland Empire. Well done, Edward.
