Spotlight on Innovation: TOPO smart

In applications like molecular spectroscopy and infrared microscopy, it is difficult to find widely tunable lasers covering 3.1 – 3.5 μm (3230 – 2855 cm-1), a region that includes C-H and N-H stretch features in molecules. TOPTICA has developed the TOPO smart, a continuous wave optical parametric oscillator optimized for these important spectral regions while also being compact, reliable, and affordable.
