Fear the Unknown

Fear the Unknown

Your brain is designed to see danger around every corner. It goes back to the very beginnings of human history. We survived because we were aware & cautious.

What does this have to do with sales? Well, that fear is a part of our day-to-day, even when there is no imminent danger. We fear being rejected by our "tribe." We fear not having value for our community. Making a call, doing a sales presentation, anytime you pitch—that fear of rejection or of change is present.

How do you get past it? Doing the thing anyway! Understand your fear is there, but keep going.
