Female Founder Tech Series Launches

Female Founder Tech Series Launches

Behind the Scenes at Female Founders Rise
Musings, Insights, Challenges + Highlights....

The good intentions to write this newsletter weekly have proved difficult, but I'm back with lots to share.

📣 The big excitement is that the Female Founder Tech Series will launch in London on 18th May with our first event focused on fundraising.

One of our goals for the year was to host an event with Google and Neil Lock got in touch (after reading that post 👇) and has worked with me to help bring this to life.

Thanks to our Partners

Incredibly grateful to Neil Lock from Google who has been the partner that keeps on giving - making sure we're super organised and taking some of the event planning off my hands.

Also to Capdesk from Carta and Vauban from Carta for sponsoring this event and making it all possible.

As a community that currently doesn’t charge our members, there isn’t loads of money sloshing around so we need all the help we can get to host events and do the work we do at Female Founders Rise

Lucía + Jim + Ben + Christian > Thanks for making this happen. (go and connect with these lovely people if you haven't already) 🙌 🙌

Why are we doing this?

  • Connect our members with each other,
  • Support them in their fundraising efforts,
  • Help them build relationships with people who can open doors

We already know that as a direct result of our events female founders have raised funds and this will continue.

Networking and connection are critical to success and tackling founder loneliness that often comes with running a business.

We want our members to have long-term, profitable businesses that make an impact.

The purpose of Female Founders Rise is to enable financial freedom through female entrepreneurship.

There is a big family of growing supporters behind the scenes.

Most recently appreciative of the support of Victoria + 🌈 Dan and Elissa in shaping our purpose, mission, vision, and positioning statement. And keeping me on track!

Lots of other things going on but I think I have written enough for today.

Have a great week

Emmie
