Post. U.S.A elections

As the elections in the U.S. drew to a close, we would like to remind our OEEC 2024 exhibitors and visitors that on the first day of the event, 26th of November, Oceantic Network's CEO Liz Burdock will share a post-election update in terms of the offshore renewable energy and the wider (offshore) energy sector. This will be a useful session to attend for those working or planning to work in the U.S. offshore renewable energy market. The ‘Outlook USA – a post-election update’ talk starts at 15:30, 26 November at The Stage.

Seabed security

Perhaps one of the most talked about developments lately is the security of offshore energy infrastructure. After intelligence agencies warned about possible sabotage of these assets in the North and Baltic Seas by Russia, the countries in the two regions are working to secure the energy infrastructure offshore. On The Stage, the Royal Navy and the Seabed Security Experimentation Center (SeaSEC) will hold a panel discussion on seabed security. This is probably one of the most important sessions to attend at OEEC 2024.

Nature enhancement

Nature enhancement innovations are something that we are putting a major focus on. Nature mitigation, inclusivity and enhancement have been part of our program for a few years now, but this is the first time we have a dedicated pavilion, where our visitors can come and learn more about these solutions. Make sure to attend the session on nature enhancement at 11:00, 26 November at the Stage.

Pressure Cooker on 25 November

On Monday, 25 November, you will have the opportunity to talk with the larger CCS operators about their challenges in CCS and the solutions you see fit, together with ONE-Dyas, Petrogas, ENI, Shell, TotalEnergies, Tenaz. The format for this is a Pressure Cooker which will be organized by ElementNL and Navingo at the day prior to OEEC2024. If you would like to participate, please fill out the form  as soon as possible.
