Finding your passion

Finding your passion

Sharing a small conversion I had with a student after a class.

Question : He walked up to me to ask "how do you remain so enthusiastic about what you do?"

Answer: Because I love what I do. That's how the work feels leisure to me and energy flows.

Question : Is this "the secret" to you long hours of lectures? That is how you are able stand for hours and deliver?

Answer : see we all have the blessing to have something that we love doing, for me teaching is the one, it is Different for everyone and once you start doing what you are passionate about time stops mattering. I want to share a secret that I feel more charged up after a long day at teaching than otherwise.

Question : how do I identify what is my passion? I cannot find it myself!!

Answer : patience. It may take time in life to identify your true passion.

But then, be on a look out, if you find yourself doing something repeatedly for hours without getting tired and paradoxically you find yourself more energetic after those hours, that is your passion.
