First Semicon visit
The first two days at Semicon in Taipei have been nothing short of inspiring! Kicking off with visionary insights from imec on the future of semiconductor technologies, it became clear that the fusion of innovation on AI, 3D integration, and sustainability is accelerating like never before. From TransferTopics sessions highlighting where semiconductor technologies meet emerging application areas, the opportunities ahead are stimulating and open plenty of opportunities from a human-driven design perspective. Thanks to Frank Bösenberg 柏成山 linking myself more deeply into the community.
A key highlight was a fruitful Saxony Networking Dinner arranged by Saxony Trade & Invest Corp. with leading Taiwanese companies, where collaboration and innovation were at the forefront of every conversation. The energy and enthusiasm from the local semiconductor community with speeches by Thomas Kralinski René Reichardt Steffen Rietzschel and, foremost, Jonathan Lee from TSMC were palpable, making this a pivotal moment for future partnerships.
Additionally, visiting the Design College at NTUST this morning further reinforced the importance of blending creativity with technology. The exchange of ideas will foster existing collaborations between Taiwanese and German design institutions.
Looking forward to what the next hours will bring, enriching my view about Taiwan my knowledge about innovation systems and designing for living systems in this rapidly evolving field. 🚀 #Semicon #Semiconductors #Innovation #Taipei #imec #NTUST #Collaboration #FutureTech #design
