We’ve had a great response to the posts we’ve been sharing, rounding up the big stories and analyses affecting the video games industry. Here are this week’s five at 5…

You may have seen the news of Amazon Games opening a new studio in Bucharest – and that it will be headed up by former Ubisoft Bucharest boss Christian Pana. But did you know that Pana started his industry career as a games tester? “I started my career as a game tester over 20 years ago here in Bucharest,” he told Venturebeat. “It was a complete departure from my career as a licensed accountant. I always wanted to be in games. As a kid and teenager, I always dreamed about a job where I could play games for a living, and being a game tester is the closest I could imagine. I immediately jumped into this wonderful, ever-changing entertainment industry when I had the first opportunity. Has Sony let the cat out of the bag about its plans for mobile? Eurogamer seems to think so as it highlights a job listing which reveals that the company is looking for an engineer to design a PlayStation platform which will focus on "developing, publishing, and operating free-to-play mobile games".
