Five elements that supercharge🔋 your transformational 🦋leadership journey🛣️

Transformative leadership is considered the highest form of leadership and refers to a leadership approach that causes a change in individuals and social systems. It seeks to create a significant shift in followers' perceptions, behaviors, and abilities by inspiring and empowering them.

The precursor is the perception that is built around you. There are multiple ingredients to creating perception, but the key four pillars that contribute to this are,

1️⃣ Think of transformational leaders as the best sports coaches. They get everyone pumped up about the game plan, make everyone believe they can win, and get everyone excited to play, i.e., they make everyone see the "North Star Vision" and derive collaboration among diverse teams.

2️⃣ These leaders love new ideas and encourage everyone to think outside the box. They don't want you to follow orders; they want you to develop cool new ways to do things, i.e., they develop "creativity and innovation."

3️⃣ Imagine a teacher who gets, supports, and helps you when stuck. That's what these leaders do. They make sure everyone feels important and heard. They practice attentive listening and understand intent, content, and emotion behind. They are masters at the right tonality, voice, body language, and practicing empathy.

4️⃣ These leaders aren't just talking the talk; they walk the walk. They're the people you admire and think, "I wanna be like them when I grow up. They do the right thing; everyone trusts and looks up to them. They live by their personality, values, and beliefs, and in that process, they inspire. They are consistent

While the first 4 are team management skills, Critical Thinking is an individual skill.

5️⃣ Critical thinking is carefully analyzing information to make informed decisions. It involves questioning assumptions, weighing evidence, and drawing logical conclusions. This skill helps individuals distinguish between fact and opinion and make reasoned judgments.

The first four leadership behaviors create a positive influence and strong perception of the leader, and it can only be done on the rock bed of "Critical Thinking.
