Five-year company anniversary

Five years ago, after having spent twenty years as outside and in-house counsel in different companies, I went solo and launched my own law firm in the city of Zurich. These past five years have been quite a ride, not only because of this year’s Corona pandemic. 

Most solo practitioners in Switzerland have a typical solo-attorney profile, covering legal areas such as family, labour and criminal law, but only very few are dedicated exclusively to commercial matters, especially commercial disputes. 

Fortunately, the market is more and more aware that in Switzerland, it is indeed possible to practice as a solo commercial disputes lawyer, what I tried to explain in various articles in the past five years, including articles published on LinkedIn on 15 January 2018, 26 January 2018 and 8 March 2020, as well as, to a certain extent, in the Swiss newspaper Neue Zürcher Zeitung on 6 April 2020.

All those who read this post and have helped me in one way or another during the past five years, and there are many, fortunately, who did: thank you so much for your much appreciated help and assistance! I am truly grateful for it!
